This man is a great American. I just read where a Mr. Thomas Peterffy just took some ads out to help warn the idiots who believe socialism to be a good thing that it is really quite far from the truth (promoted by most media and probably 95% of teachers). He talks about his upbringing, and seeing the devastation this thought process/belief system wrought on his fellow Easter European brethren. I've personally witnessed this myself, having gone there to create a series of art in 1991. HORRIFIC. I could not get taxi drivers in Russia; "too busy, on break, find someone else" to waiters in restaurants "do you have a reservation? No, then go away, you need one first"- in an empty restaurant. They did not want to work, the gov't paid them not matter what, so they did not have to. UNBELIEVABLE! China has gotten better, they allowed Capitalism to creep into the country, they are growing in leaps and bounds. They just need Democracy to balance it all out. If anyone can get me his contact info, please send it to me. I'd like to offer Mr. Thomas Peterffy a free piece of my art to thank him (yeah, I know he could afford it, but that's not the point), it would be a gift from me representing all of you other 'non-socialists' of America. I've created some art in Budapest, he might want one of those, but I'm not limiting him- I've got tons for him to choose from. From our heart to his. Thanks God for great men like Thomas Peterffy, may He raise up more folks to come forward and further warn the multitudes, before this great country slides into further abyss.
