Naomi Judd started collecting Seewald's, the year
before this shot, back in 1993,
Kipp and
Lisa Downing with their 40"x50" image,
framed to 40x60", of Butcher on Break, Venice, Italy '94. The piece,
a limited edition of only 10, with two now sold, currently runs $30,000
and will increase to $35k after the next sale. Kipp is the owner of Pacifica Del
Mar
Restaurant at the Del Mar Plaza. He owns some 20 Seewald's now.

Long time collectors John and Kelley Lefferdink
have collected many Seewald images.
Here they pose with Michael at his gallery in Del Mar, California.
The image they pose with is the one the
Lefferdink's sponsored, 'The Three Graces, Xian, China'
back in the mid-eighties. The original (this is one of a few 'reproductions'
left also) is valued at $100,000, and will increase to $500,000 after the next
one sells.
