Lobster Season starts 

Recreational lobster season opens at 12:00:01 a.m. Saturday preceding the first
Wednesday in October through the first Wednesday after the 15th of March.
Here are the dates for the next two seasons:

• Saturday, October 2, 2010 through Wednesday, March 16, 2011

• Saturday, October 1, 2011 through Wednesday, March 21, 2012

10.8.'11 Hopefully, I will have some nice reports soon, since I now have a galvanized trailer I can
launch in the San Diego Bays again (Mission Bay and Oceanside too). I've never lobster fished,
but I've been doing a lot of research about it.

10.28.'11 Update:
Well, I'm a little closer to going out. A guy at our men's group at NCCC church donated $160 towards hoop nets,
when I told him and his friend money was the only thing stopping me at this point, TUL. Now I'm looking for some
I can afford, as I found out the deal of 10 for $160 was not including the 'hardware', so it's another $20 each! Nor were they the
higher quality and design, those are about $30 each at Wal-Mart, without the hardware still. Found a few used ones,
complete, for $20 to $35 on Craigslist.
