Collectors and their collections
More and more businesses are finding
photographic art of great appeal, both for the
employees and the businesses
patrons.
Three 30x30" photos, as well as another five
pieces, were on display
at Pacifica Del Mar Restaurant for a five year period.
Recently the Pacifica Del Mar Restaurant,
one of the top four
restaurants in San Diego county, purchased and installed a
$60,000 Seewald collection.
(One triptych, -pictured above- plus two diptych's
and a single image) Owner Kipp Downing, also collected quite a few
Seewald's for his personal collection, and sponsored two trips also..
The Il Fornaio Restaurant, at the Del
Mar Plaza in
Del Mar California, had many Seewald's on temporary display.
Also, the Il Fornaio
Restaurant chain (24 and counting) is in negotiation with a Seewald rep
to get
there own Seewald collection started, with 16 for their Del Mar location.

Charles, recently retired, was Chief Scientific Officer of Sequenom Corporation,
from 1998 thru 2014
Dr Charles Cantor of Sequenom Corporation in La Jolla, California
had personally collected some 45 Seewald's over the past 10 years, mostly
sponsored ones,
and displayed some 30 of them in the halls and meeting rooms of the corporation.
