May 7th, 2004 (Sorry if some of you rec'd this twice- glitch in mailing.) Greetings, Just a quick note about a couple of things. Michael will be heading off to work in China next week. Second time since 1988, when he created one of his most successful series from over 45 worldwide trips to date. This time he will concentrate on a new area, Sichuan Provence, and be based in the city of Chengdu. The pandas live in the mountains of this area, so he will try and catch one for each sponsor that signs up. Just kidding of course, but he will try and outperform his earlier work there, so it would be a good trip to invest in. Of course, sponsors get a Seewald original for about 1/2 price over that of opening night. (Get in for as low as $1,500, payments in thirds.) No, you don't go on the trip with him, but in the future you might be able to. The area is known for it's interesting city life as well as it's natural wonders and national parks. We know a lot of you have been contemplating sponsorship, so contact us and we shall see how to make it a reality for you to own a Seewald. (See where a Picasso just sold for OVER $104,000,000 yesterday at auction!). He will work in Tibet as well, which sponsorship wise has been sold out for a while now. His trip to Italy in the fall has 5 sponsors, so we have room for a few more before closing out that series. Our friend John Stokes, the master puzzle maker, is at it again, with a special puzzle, one of a kind, created out of a Seewald image. Only 16 hours left on eBay as of this newsletters creation, which is midnight, Thursday night the 6th. Here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3190938822If you are interested in a Seewald photography class and you did not receive an announcement recently let us know. The next class is sold out but we have one in June on Michael's return. Beginners to advance, one day workshops, digital or analog, only $195 for Michael's entire brain given to you!! Well almost, read about it. http://www.seewald.com/photo_wkshp_intro_pg.htmAnd of course, because we have sent this newsletter we have to give away a few Seewald reproductions to a lucky few (8) of you. To see if you name was drawn just visit our Sponsorship Page, the names will be posted on the bottom: http://www.seewald.com/sponsorship_info.htmGood luck winning, Valerie Seewald PS Note to recent sponsors- The Kenya series is printed. The Thailand series is half chosen, sponsor number 5, in Maryland, just had them mailed to them. Opening night reception to be held in July. Seewald's Art Gallery
