11/27/'01 newsletter
Greetings,
Hope all is well with everyone and that you all
had plenty of Turkey recently. We did, in Monterey, California, at the
'Sardine Factory' at Cannery Row (remember, from the John Steinbeck book). A
fancy-schmancy - and tasty- restaurant where we saw prices on their
extensive collection of 1,000 bottles of wines ranging from about $40 to
$10,000 for an 1805 bottle of Champagne. (Better invested in two Seewald
30"x40" sponsored photos, don't you think?)
Michael's work in Monterey County, California
netted him not only great photos of Big Sur, Carmel, Monterey Peninsula,
Pacific Grove, Cannery Row, Seventeen Mile Drive and Pebble Beach, but two
more galleries that will carry his work! What blessings. He will have
three openings there at the same time near the end of January. We will keep
you posted.
Anyway, the main thing we wanted to say is
that Michael is going to sign and number the calendars this Thursday, after
they get back from binding in Los Angeles. (This calendar is going to be
such an award winner). Over two hundred of you have already ordered yours,
(a few taking us up on the purchase 5 and GET ONE FREE offer). Mailing or
pick up will take place by Monday of next week, barring all problems. If
you are going to come in and pick up, call first to make sure.
This is your last chance for the pre-release
special price of $49.95! Next Monday they will increase to $59.95, $100.00
by the end of next March, and to over $150 by the end of next summer, if not
higher.
As always,
four recipients of this
newsletter have won a Seewald 11" x 14"
original valued at $750 - just for being alive and willing to go to the
website and see if your name is posted there. Isn't life great? One of you
have sent about 30 of your friends to sign our guest-book, thus increasing
your odds of winning accordingly. As most of you know, if you refer someone
to our site and they mentioned it to us when signing the guest-book, you
both win!
The winning names drawn for this newsletters
give-away are posted on the 'About Seewald' page. Note: One of them was a
referral!

Reply A.S.A.P. to claim your prize. You have three weeks from todays date.
Two new series, "Kauai/Lanai, 2000" and "Japan, 2000", will have their
opening night debut this December in the Del Mar area, location and date
forthcoming.
Michael is off to the Monterey Peninsula, Carmel, Big Sur and surrounding
areas to work for the next few weeks. This will be his 41st sponsored trip
in the past 16 years. He is excited to be working where other masters in his
medium have called home for decades. He now has a gallery in Carmel
representing him and will have a one man show there sometime in January,
date to be announced. Gallery info is on our website.
http://www.seewald.com/michael_seewald_carmel_represention.htm
. Sponsorship still available for this series. Info for sponsoring this
trip, or others for next year, is at:
http://www.seewald.com/sponsors.htm
The 2002 calendars have been perfected as of today, and will now go to
press. Due to the fact it is our 10th annual, Continental Litho, whom
sponsors these collectable, signed and numbered beauties, is making it as
large as the millenium one they produced two years ago. The theme, Tuscany
Italy. Calendars increase in price, and value, as they sell out. Get one
now, and one for a close friend or two. We will ship out after Thanksgiving
for those of you who have already ordered.
Recent sale action. Paul Levy and Christine Infante of Rancho Santa Fe,
California just added two 30"x40"s to their collection, 'Banfi vineyards,
'99', sponsored by Z and D of Fairbanks Ranch, Ca., and "Baby Carriage,
Venice, Italy, '94", sponsored by the the Lerners of Allentown, PA.. The
number one restaurnant is San Diego county, the Pacifica Del Mar Restaurant,
also located in the Del Mar Plaza as is our gallery, just re-decorated their
restaurant with eight new Seewald's.
We are having a contest to help with the best 'quote tag' we can find.
The winner will receive a 16"x20" original valued at $2,250.00. We have come
up with "Art improves life…a Seewald improves it to the next level"! We
already have been given the following:
Art improves life… a Seewald makes it Priceless!
or
Art improves life… a Seewald inspires it!
It does not have to even be simular to these.
We could also use some new 'viewer statements' that convey how a Seewald
image moves you. Please submit a paragraph and if we choose to use it we
will give you a 2002 calendar, valued at $49.95, as a thank-you.
One of the four winners for the free original is: Christina and Mark
French. Congratulations. The page on the website to see if you are one of
the other three winners is:

. Good luck.
Thanks, and may the Lord richly bless you and yours,

8/13/'01 newsletter
This Seewald quarterly photographic newsletter includes:
1. Greetings
2. Four recipients of this newsletter have
won Seewald originals!!
3. Michael's live, world-wide, internet
radio program starts next Monday.
4. Gallery in Carmel will represent Michael,
show opens this Friday.
5. 2002, SPECIAL "TENTH ANNUAL" Seewald Art
Calendar previews now on site.
6. New sponsorship availability, future
trips announced.
7. $2,500 first minimum bid required on
Seewald '93 art calendar on e-bay.
Greetings,
We hope everyone is having a splendid
summer. Ours started with us being in Tuscany, with Michael getting great
photos of Florence, Montalcino, Siena, San Gimignano, Carrara, Vinci (where
Leonardo was from) and many other beautiful locations. All but one of these
'Tuscany II' sponsorships have been sold, so if you would like the last one
let us know. (If it is your first sponsorship, you will choose last, but
you will still have a tough time choosing from so many great images. I
know, I sponsored six trips before we married.)
2. As always, FOUR PEOPLE RECEIVING THIS
NEWSLETTER HAVE WON A $950.00 photograph of choice. (We have many people
receiving this newsletter for the first time, so this is how it works). One
winners name is listed somewhere in this newsletter, SO READ ON BEFORE GOING
TO OUR WEBSITE. Why? 'Cause the other three names this time are listed on
the bottom of our "2002 Calendar" page. Just click on that link from our
homepage: It takes only seconds to see if your name is posted there.
3. Due to new technology, Michael will
have a live, worldwide, 'visual radio program' on Saturdays at 2 p.m. to 4
p.m., Pacific Standard Time. It will be on
www.wsradio.ws.
It will cover, what else, the photographic art industry… collecting,
critiquing art (all types) stories of his exciting travels (sneaking into
Russia to photograph without a visa), travel tips, photo secrets, etc.. You
must have speakers and a 'sound card' on your computer to hear it.
Instructions are on their site. (The very first show will run in a different
time slot, in that it will be Monday the 20th, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.).
It will be archived, so if you don't
get a chance to hear it live you can always hear it later by going to the
wsradio site. He will give away gifts to callers so be sure to listen in if
you can. The exciting thing is that you can be clicking on different
websites along with him to see what images he is speaking about.
4. Next Friday night, Michael will be
exhibiting quite a few of his new 30" x 40" "Tuscany '99" images in a newly
expanded gallery in Carmel Valley, just inland from Carmel California, at
the 'Barnyard Mall'. It's just north of Big Sur and 5 miles south of
Monterey (where seventeen mile drive, Pebble Beach Golf Course, Cannery Row,
etc., is located). He will personally attend the opening there, so if you
live around there come on by and say hi. If you have not met him, please
introduce yourself. If you want to attend just e-mail us and we will send
an 'e-invite' with times and addresses.
5. The theme for next years "10th
Anniversary Seewald Art Calendar" is 'Tuscany '99". It will be a SPECIAL,
EXTRA LARGE one: (17" X 21", with the images 13" x 13"). Pre-release price
is only $49.95. Purchase 5 and get the sixth one FREE! Great Holiday
gifts. Preview of the calendars are on our website now. It will be
released around Thanksgiving.
All are from Michael's first, and
most recently released series, Tuscany. This is the first where each
sponsor from a series gets there image in a calendar. (One of the perks of
sponsoring is your name goes on it wherever it is printed, books, magazines,
calendars, posters, and of course, on all originals.) Congratulations to
all the Tuscany sponsors for getting your images chosen by Michael. PLUS,
the winner for this page is: Chris and Rod Friant. E mail us you read your
name to claim prize.
6. Sponsorships still available for
getting in for this year are: Africa and/or Thailand. Next years are now
announced: Venice, Italy; Monterey Peninsula, California and Tibet. First
come, first pick on new sponsors, so let us know if you would like to
reserve one of these future masterpieces with a 1/3 deposit down now.
Investment prices are: $10,000 for a 40" x 50", $5,000 for a 30" x 40", or
only $3,000 for a 24" x 30" (and these are the unframed dimensions!).
Generally, all of these prices are one half of 'release price', so you can
see why so many people sponsor.
7. An owner of a signed and numbered,
limited edition 1993 Seewald art calendar (the first annual), from La Jolla,
California, has put it up on E-bay with a $2,500 minimum bid price. He is
pointing to our site where the prospective new owner can see that it's half
the price for what we are currently asking for for our last one.
So many things are happening in the
photographic art industry. Single photos have been selling for over a
million dollars! Michael will cover much of this on his program, so we hope
you 'can listen and watch in'!
May the Lord richly bless you and yours,
Valerie Seewald
ps We hope you are one of the lucky four
winners.

What a nice series. The 12 Tuscany sponsors are now choosing- six
are finished, and the Kauai/Lanai people are 'up to bat' within a month.)
One day photo workshops for beginners to advanced:
Some beginners are ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS, and feel intimated to take a class.
But Michael works great with them. He says they learn more, and they
are
more open minded to his teachings. I was truly amazed at what
everyone learns, having sat in on one of his classes years ago
myself. (Afterwards,
I had to ask him "Do you really think about all of those things you
talked about?" He replied, "more!").
The next one day class is sold out, but e-mail us if your interested in
the February dates. If you did not receive a photo workshop
announcement previous to this letter we don't have you down for our
special mailings for them. Contact us to put you on it now.

increased to $2,100 today, up from $1,800. 30"x40's" have

them fast enough, so many of you are now receiving your first one from us
even though you signed in 6 months ago! In honor of us being so
slow, WE HAVE EXTENDED THE LOWER PRICES FOR ONE WEEK to give you a chance
to get in on adding your favorite originals to your collection at the old,
