Greetings folks,
We hope you and yours are well, we (Michael and Valerie) are, as many of you
know
from stopping by our gallery. Michael has created two new series, painted some
paintings,
lectured to photo clubs, and taught many photo workshop classes in the year
since our last newsletter.
I’m still very busy taking care of the cutest little 14 month old, 50 hrs per
week, in my nanny business.
Our art gallery is still located on the top level of the Del Mar Plaza, in north
San Diego
county, and our picture frame shop is 10 miles further north, still in
Encinitas,.
On art news, Michael recently purchased a used ’60 mp digital back’ for his
medium format Hasselblad
camera, which normally runs $20K, and was out of the budget until we found one
in China for $12K.
He has found the images are even better than ever, you’ll have to see them to
believe them. He first
used it in Cuba, and for the second half of his Gold Country series, still in
process. Also, he has
taught dozens of folks how to better us their cameras, both locally and up in
Yosemite, Carmel, etc..
