For real time data, the USGS/NOAA has real time monitoring
stations in El Capitan, San Vicente, and Vail Lake. But those are the only three:

Current 2016 San Diego lake water levels

Note: San Vicente closed in Sept. 2008 for a few years (as of Jan. 2015, it's still closed but schedule to open any month)
 to make the dam bigger; it will increase it three-fold or so. MS

Also, we've been in a drought for about 11 years, although we are in the middle of a big El Nino.
The lakes now are looking in very poor shape, maybe by April that will be different. MS
