Many new trips have been added for sponsorship (“N. Italy”, “Jamaica”, “Yunnan Provence, China” and "Laos").  Get a future Seewald at much reduced rates over that of opening night by committing to a piece of art sight-unseen, (of course, you choose a fav from about 20-30  winners) as hundreds of folks have now done, some as many as a dozen times

Here is the intro page concerning sponsoring, the who, what, why, etc.:

Do you make exciting, award winning photos yourselves?  No, well you could; Michael is giving a photo class weekend in Carmel, Calif. in August, Italy in September, China in January, etc..  We have three spaces left for the San Diego July 29th/30th class too.  To see info on all of this :

"...Michael is a great teacher, he has so much personality and love for what he dose. He kept my attention the whole time. He is vary easy to learn from and understand.. I learned more from him in two days, then I did with a year of classes.

Just in the first 5 minutes I was looking at my camera differently. I had learned just how powerful my camera was, and I am enjoying it more!..."

Greetings all,

As always, this newsletter bares extra good news for a few recipients, as our year end drawing (for a $10,000 original 30”x40” of choice) is combined with our usual give away of eight original 11x14’s (valued at $1,000 each).  Only one of the eight claimed their winning last newsletter (congrats to Joyce Partipilo of Newberg, Or., winner of a $1,000 Seewald original!)

But guess what, Joyce was referred by Heather Slater of Tacoma WA, thus Heather wins one too.  AND Heather was referred by Debra Kozik of Hickory Hills IL., so guess what again, she wins one too.  WHEW!  Obviously it pays to refer folks to the site, huh?  Michael is sending those out this week.  Keep reading to find out how to see if you are one of this newsletters winners.

Michael just returned a couple of weeks ago from working the southern island of Italy- Sicily, his 51st destination around the world.  He said he was surprised to see how cold it got there this time of year.  We had figured it to be similar to our San Diego weather, as it’s about the same latitude, but he had to buy a coat as his California jacket did not do a thing, as it was down to 34 degrees at night and in the high forties during the day.  Here, really cold is 60!  Palermo, Syracuse, Termini, Taormina, and Mt. Etna are just a few of the places he got his rental car to take him too, capturing city ghost images, seascapes and landscapes extraordinaire.

He says he got so many spectacular images the sponsors of this trip will have a real hard time picking just one favorite from the group.  He also has a couple of sponsorship left, so if you would like to get a Seewald at about half price, let us know.  The only downside is the wait, about one year.  He has to ‘vote’ on the art many times over deciding which ones to allow you to see.  More info on sizes, prices and testimonial from hundreds of happy campers here:  http://www.seewald.com/sponsorship_info.htm

Guess what, a vintage photo by Edward Steichen just sold two weeks ago for just under 3 MILLION DOLLARS!!!  Photographic art, art wise, is really taking off lately.  Don’t be left behind, start collecting Seewald’s before Michael figures out he should have another price increase to keep up with the market changes.  Here is the image with more auction action:  http://www.seewald.com/collector_info.htm

The latest series Michael has released is ‘Umbria, Italy, from his winter 2004 trip.  The sponsors have chosen their favorites from 35 finalists, and that left 24 un-sponsored images that would sell at lower rates, being they are not limited.  To see the complete new series click here - (lot of photos, so it could take a minute to load… patience please): http://www.seewald.com/umbria.htm

Our Sichuan China/Tibet opening was a lot of fun, here are some pic’s of collectors and admirers from that nights event: http://www.seewald.com/snaps_of_collectors.htm

Michael’s photography classes continue in popularity, and many folks come from across the country to learn from him.  Mostly are beginners, so don’t think that you can’t make good photos, just take his weekend class- more info here: http://www.seewald.com/photo_wkshp_intro_pg.htm

Last but not least, our good friend/master puzzle maker John Stokes has a beautiful Seewald reproduction ‘Volterra, Italy’, sponsored by Chris and Shelly Heller of Encinitas, CA, made into a special, one of a kind puzzle- (13 3/8" x 13 3/8"   -  504 pieces, Long Round cutting style).  It’s now on E-bay with one day left of bidding: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6040318307

Now, to see if you are one of the nine ‘end of year’ winners, please visit this page on our website.  The names are posted at the bottom, above the logo section.  Good luck.  (It’s the Umbria page, with a lot of photos, so it could take a minute to load… patience please.
